Uniform

The uniform is compulsory and it can only be purchased from Jackie Palmers (this includes dance shoes.) When you first join the school, please wear anything that is appropriate for dancing and moving around in, you will be expected to purchase the uniform by your fourth week.

Uniform is obtained by making an appointment for a fitting, this can be done by phoning Marylyn on 01494 520 978.  Uniform is  sold Monday – Saturday, but by appointment only.

Every attempt is made to supply the best quality at the most competitive price. Some second hand uniform is available, depending on stock.

Girls Under 8yrs require:
Leotard, Socks, Ballet Skirt, Ballet Shoes, Tap Shoes, Jazz Shoes, Bun Net

Girls over 8yrs require:
Leotard, Stirrup Tights, Ballet Skirt, Ballet Shoes, Tap Shoes, Jazz Shoes, Bun Net
(When doing exams you may also require Ballet tights and / or a tap skirt, older girls may require Pointe shoes)

Optional Uniform Purchases:
T. Shirt, Jumper, Head band, Bag,
(If you are a member of the street crew you will require the JP Crew Tracksuit)

Boys of all ages:
Socks, Trousers, T. Shirt, Jazz Shoes, Tap Shoes
(If taking up the option of Boys Ballet you will also require – Ballet Shoes, Unitard, Leotard)

Optional Uniform Purchases:
Jumper, Bag, Dance Belt
(If you are a member of the street crew you will require the JP Crew Tracksuit)

Prices vary, depending on ages, sizes, and fitting as pupils are anywhere between three and eighteen years old and are subject to change

As a guide, the compulsory uniform for a three year old girl is approximately £40, whereas the compulsory uniform for an eighteen year old girl is approximately £120.

Once your uniform has been purchased please name all your items – so if lost they can be returned to you. Anything un-named cannot be claimed and will be re-sold and the money given to charity.
